AS two sought-after North Wales developments enter their final era, events are being held to help homeowners secure a move to a new home in Colwyn Bay or Prestatyn.
Castle Green Homes is hosting a part exchange event at Rydal View in Colwyn Bay on Saturday, August 22, while over at Sŵn y Môr in Prestatyn, visitors will be able to learn about Easy Move. Both schemes are designed to simplify the selling and buying process.
Castle Green Homes sales director Sian Pitt explained: “Homes near the coast are always popular, particularly over the summer when people are visiting the area. From families wanting to be close to good schools and have easy access to the beach to downsizers looking for somewhere more manageable to live near the sea, our new homes in Colwyn Bay and Prestatyn have broad appeal.
“With some house types already sold out at both locations, we’re starting to see a sense of urgency among homeowners as they start to worry they might miss out while they try to find a buyer in the traditional way. We’re inviting them to join us this Saturday to discover how we can help them secure a quick sale – either with our Easy Move service where we work with an agent to sell the customer’s property or by taking their home in part exchange. Around a dozen people have already used these schemes to move to a new home close to the North Wales coast, with some receiving the keys in as little to six to eight weeks.
“Our Easy Move and part exchange events are an opportunity for homeowners to learn more about the support available and which option best suits their situation. Easy Move has no link between the value of the properties being sold or bought, meaning it’s suited to a range of movers, while part exchange is a slick and simple way of moving up the housing ladder. Mortgage advisers will be available during the events to help buyers explore their finance options too, meaning all the support they need will be under one roof.”
Under Easy Move, Castle Green will manage the entire selling process for homeowners looking to move to one of its new homes in Flintshire. This includes, arranging valuations, working with estate agents to ensure a quick sale and even contributing towards their fees.
With part exchange, homeowners essentially trade their current property towards the cost of a new home. They effectively have a guaranteed cash buyer and can remain in their existing property until their home is ready.
Homes at Rydal View are just a short walk from Colwyn Bay town centre and the beach, with potential for stunning coastal views.
The development offers a choice of three and four-bedroom homes, with prices from £440,000 to £700,000.
Homes at Sŵn y Môr are being built in a semi-rural location, on the fringe of Prestatyn town. Many of the properties overlook open fields, with distant views towards the dunes and sea beyond.
There’s a choice of two, three and four-bedroom homes available, priced from £255,000 to £515,000.
A small number of properties at both locations will be ready to move into this autumn with a host of upgrades included such as flooring, quartz kitchen worktops and turf to the rear garden.
