Castle Green Homes Nears Sellout at Llys y Coed Development in Rhosrobin

WITH more than 95% of new homes at a popular development near Wrexham now sold, buyers are being urged to act now to secure a move to one of the final few properties.

Castle Green Homes started work at Llys y Coed on Main Road, Rhosrobin in late 2023 and opened show homes in early 2024. Since then, the 39-acre site has been transformed into a new community of 189 new homes.

Sales director Sian Pitt said: “The housing mix at Llys y Coed was carefully planned to reflect local need in Rhosrobin and the wider Wrexham area. By catering for first time buyers, families and downsizers alike and providing high quality, energy efficient homes in a location people want to live in, we’ve been able to achieve a steady sales rate. We’re now counting down the final properties, having sold more than 95% of the development including all of the two and three-bedroom homes and the show homes which inspired so many people to move here.

“The sales office is now closed, with the sales team now based at Maes y Castell in Abermorddu, which is only a 10-minute drive away. They’ll be able to help guide buyers through their options, including the tailor-made incentives available to support movers.”

There are two styles of four-bedroom homes available at Llys y Coed – the Wentworth, priced from £375,000, and the Alderton, from £412,000.

They’re ready to move into, with up to £30,000 worth of upgrades included. Buyers will benefit from flooring throughout, quartz kitchen worktops, turfed rear garden, and an outside tap.

The Wentworth offers 1,331 sq ft of living space, including lounge, with feature bay window at the front. French doors lead from the combined kitchen, dining and family room out to the rear garden. A practical utility and cloakroom are accessed via the kitchen.

Upstairs, all four bedrooms are doubles, with the primary bedroom benefitting from an en-suite to complement the family bathroom.

The Alderton is a generously proportioned home, spanning 1,489 sq ft. The open plan kitchen, dining and family room spans the width of the rear of the property and is destined to be the heart of the home. The lounge, with feature bay window, at the front, offers a quieter space to relax in. A utility, cloakroom and storage space complete the ground floor.

All four bedrooms are doubles, with the primary bedroom benefiting an en-suite to complement the family bathroom.

The homes at Llys y Coed are nestled in Rhosrobin village, between the Welsh mountains and the lower Dee Valley, with Wrexham city centre just 10 minutes away by car.

Around half of the 30-acre site has been preserved as open space, with ancient woodlands retained for walks and bike trails.

Community investments agreed during the planning process include a £400,000 education contribution, funding for improvements to Wat’s Dyke and provision of a 400 square metre local equipped area of play, with seven pieces of play equipment.
